Pregnancy Testing

safe, secure, and free Pregnancy and std Tests

There are two main types of pregnancy tests, blood tests, and urine tests.

There are two blood tests a qualitative hCG and a quantitative hCG test. The qualitative hCG test answers the question, “Are you pregnant?”. Giving you a “yes” or “no” answer. A quantitative hCG test measures the exact amount of hCG within your blood. This method can find very low levels of hCG. (WebMD)

Urine tests are easy to use and more confidential than a blood test. They are quick easy and accurate if you follow the directions closely. It is used to test the urine for pregnancy signs. The response from the test only takes a few minutes.

Safe, secure, and free limited ultrasounds

What is a limited ultrasound? A limited ultrasound is a way to answer important questions, such as the gestational age of the pregnancy, and if the baby has a heartbeat. A limited ultrasound is not a full medical evaluation. Instead, it’s meant to answer the most basic and important questions regarding the early stages of pregnancy.

STD/STI Testing

Free and Confidential STI Testing

An STI is a sexually transmitted infection. It is recommended to get tested if you are a sexually active woman under the age of 25. If you are older than 25 and have intercourse with a new partner or multiple partners, you have HIV or have been forced into intercourse or sexual activity (Mayo Clinic). Cases like Chlamydia and gonorrhea can occur during intercourse and it is important to get treatment or recommendations from a doctor.

Testing can be done by examining the affected area, taking a blood sample, or swabbing the affected area to test for results. Typical symptoms of sexually transmitted infections are having sores; however, sometimes there are no signs or symptoms. It is still important to get tested.
